By accessing or using Legitima ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
Acceptance
Your access to and use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to these Terms. This agreement is effective when you first use the Service.
Changes to Terms

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
One Account Per User
Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or billing restrictions is prohibited.
What Legitima Provides
Legitima is an AI-powered document analysis platform that allows you to upload documents, ask questions, and receive intelligent responses based on document content.
Acceptable Use

- • Use the Service for lawful purposes only
- • Respect intellectual property rights
- • Comply with applicable laws and regulations
Prohibited Activities
- • Uploading malicious software, viruses, or harmful content
- • Attempting to circumvent security measures or usage limits
- • Using the Service to process illegal, defamatory, or copyrighted content
- • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
- • Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized access
- • Using automated tools to access the Service beyond rate limits
Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to documents and content you upload to Legitima. We do not claim ownership of your content.
License to Process
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store your content solely to provide the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk regarding data security.
Privacy Policy
Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Subscription Plans
Legitima offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions provide additional features, higher usage limits, and priority support.
Payment Terms

Cancellation

AI Accuracy Disclaimer
Important: AI-generated responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always verify important information from AI responses. We are not responsible for decisions made based solely on AI-generated content.
Support Channels
Support is provided via email and in-app messaging. Response times vary by subscription tier. We do not provide phone support at this time.
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Termination is immediate and irreversible.
Termination by Us
We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or other reasonable business purposes. We will provide notice when possible unless prohibited by law.
Data Retention After Termination
Upon account termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law. You should export any important data before termination.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Excluded Damages
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
Governing Law
